Okay, I cannot say that I grew up locally, or even that I came to Topsail all of my life as a child.  Like many of the folks who call Topsail “home” now, a visit here is all that it took to draw me back.  Finally in 2004, I purchased my first real estate on the island thinking it would be my weekend getaway.  Little did I know then that I would find myself relocating here.  In some ways, perhaps it is like living my dream and now doing two things I love best, living in a coastal community and working in a career that has been lifeblood.

Now; what I CAN say, is that, I DO KNOW real estate.  I grew up in a family owned real estate and construction business in piedmont North Carolina.  I later moved to the Chapel Hill area and went to work for a residential developer and builder.  A few years later, after becoming a partner in the company, I purchased and made the company a highly successful multi-faceted real estate company.  Firsthand experience as developer, builder, real estate broker, and industry consultant has provided me with a wealth of information and skills in buying and selling real estate.  All counted for, I have been involved as a broker, seller, or buyer in over 300 real estate transactions, developed close to 500 lots, and built over 700 commercial and residential construction projects since 1985.  Real estate transactions have ranged in value from $5 thousand to over $12 million as a buyer, seller, buyers agent, sellers agent, consultant and/or even as a property manager.  With this experience under my belt, it gives me the qualifications to represent you.

You need more than an experienced real estate professional.  My success in the industry has been built on a foundation of helping others to get what they want.  Whether it has been customers, employees, peers, or friends; my greatest satisfaction has been to know that I have helped others in attaining their goals and dreams.  When, you choose me, that is the kind of real estate partner you are going to get.  Whether it is selling your home, land, or commercial building, or buying your dream home or making that particular business investment, you can count on me for giving you 100% (I do sleep and have a personal life!) listening to what you want and assisting you in getting it, and doing what I say that I am going to do.

Coming to work at Seashore Realty Group, Inc is a new career venture that I am making.  I have been winding down my own company operations over the past couple of years to make this happen.  Outside of some consulting and teaching that I am continuing to do for the industry, I am full time here on Topsail.   This is my home and workplace now.  I want your business!  Over the past few years I have made a lot of friends here; enough to know that I wanted to make this my home.  Not only have I made friends, but I have also learned quite a bit about the real estate market here in my own study of the community as well as being an investor in real estate both on the island and off.  While I am sure that there are others that have more knowledge based on their longevity in the area, I am a fast learner and will continue to educate myself to keep myself knowledgeable about this market.  That is the difference that I bring to the table.  I think out of the box and I am a fresh face to the real estate market here in Topsail.  Let me prove myself to you.

You now know my desire and willingness to work for you, but there is more to my life than the passion that I have for real estate.  I have two wonderful kids 21(daughter, Morgan) and 26 (son, Zach) that I am super proud of.  In my spare time you may find me hanging on the beach (or somewhere next to the water), searching for my ball on the golf course, watching ACC basketball, singing karaoke (being a DJ when Belle lets me!), or just simply enjoying “island time”.
